Orlando, FL (May 1, 2021) – Around 10:48 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, May 1, a car accident occurred on a major Orlando highway.
According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of FL-408 around the area of Semoran Boulevard. Multiple vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another due to unknown reasons. This led to heavy damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Three left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
