Melbourne, FL (April 23, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 22, a multi-vehicle collision with injuries occurred in Melbourne.
According to officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of Ellis Road. Several vehicles collided in the area due to unknown reasons, causing one or more to crash off the side of the road. The vehicles involved sustained heavy damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident continues.
