Boca Raton, FL (February 24, 2021) – Around 1:11 a.m. on the morning of Wednesday, February 24, a car crash that resulted in serious injuries was reported at an intersection in Boca Raton.
According to Boca Raton Police, the accident took place at the intersection of 20th Street and northeast 3rd Way when two or more vehicles allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were left with severe damages as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
Police urged those traveling through the area to avoid the intersection for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
