Delray Beach, FL (July 14, 2021) – On Wednesday, July 14, a motorcycle crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Delray Beach.
According to local officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Linton Boulevard and South Congress Avenue. A motorcycle was traveling in the area when it was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle at the intersection. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was injured in the crash. They were immediately taken to the hospital.
All westbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use Lowson Boulevard as an alternate route.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
