De Leon Springs, FL (April 19, 2021) – Around 8:21 a.m. on the morning of Monday, April 19, a car accident occurred at an intersection in De Leon Springs.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of FL-11 and Blackwelder Road. Two vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
