Winter Garden, FL (June 22, 2021) – At 8 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, June 22, a truck accident with injuries occurred on a highway in Winter Garden.
According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of FL-429 around the area of Schofield Road. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it collided with a pickup truck due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the crash, all northbound lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
