Winter Garden, FL (March 10, 2021) – Around 8 a.m. on Wednesday morning, March 10, a car accident took place on a highway in Winter Garden.

According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of FL-50 around the area of Avalon Road. It is believed that two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for a period of time, which led to delays.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
