West Palm Beach, FL (March 6, 2021) – On Friday, March 5, a serious truck accident with injuries occurred on a highway in West Palm Beach.

According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Floridas Turnpike around the area of Atlantic Avenue. It is believed that a semi-truck and several passenger vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Due to the severity of the crash, all southbound lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time. Police urged those traveling in the area to use Lyons Road as an alternate route.
