West Palm Beach, FL (March 11, 2021) – On Thursday morning, two people were killed in a fatal crash on a highway in West Palm Beach.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the Florida Turnpike around the area of Indiantown Road and Palm Beach Gardens. The crash took place in the northbound lanes of traffic and involved a tractor-trailer, a pickup truck, and a utility truck.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. Two people were pronounced dead, though they have not yet been identified. It is not known if any other parties were injured.
The roadway was blocked in the area for several hours until the early afternoon hours.
Police continue their investigation into the accident.
