Orlando, FL (May 7, 2021) – Around 10 a.m. on Thursday morning, May 6, a woman was killed in a fatal crash on an Orlando roadway.
According to the Orlando Police Department, the accident happened on Lee Road in the westbound lanes. A 50-year-old woman identified as Stephanie Marshall was driving her brown Nissan Altima in the area when her vehicle was suddenly struck by a Chevrolet Impala. The Impala was allegedly speeding in the area and struck several other vehicles as well.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. Marshall was tragically pronounced dead, as well as an unidentified passenger in the Impala. The driver of a pickup truck that was struck by the Impala received minor injuries and was hospitalized.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes for a period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
