Orlando, FL (February 27, 2021) – At 9:16 p.m. on Friday night, February 26, a tractor-trailer accident occurred on a highway in Orlando.
Orange County officials confirmed that the crash happened in the eastbound lanes of FL-408 around the area of FL-417. The accident involved a tractor-trailer and at least one other passenger vehicle. The vehicles were seen in the area with extensive damages.
Paramedics and numerous other responders helped those with injuries at the scene. One or more victims were immediately hospitalized.
Due to the severity of the crash, four left lanes of traffic were blocked for some time.
The circumstances leading up to the accident have not yet been identified. Police continue their investigation.
