Orlando, FL (March 30, 2021) – Around 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, March 30, a pedestrian crash took place at an intersection in Orlando.
According to officials, the accident took place at the intersection of West Kaley Street and South Lucerne Terrace. A pedestrian was walking along the tracks when they were suddenly struck by a train.
Paramedics were present at the scene. The unidentified pedestrian was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with critical injuries.
SunRail train officials confirmed that 30 passengers were on the train at the time but none of them were injured as a result.
The area was blocked for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
