Orlando, FL (May 2, 2021) – At 3 a.m. on the morning of Sunday, May 2, one person was killed and others were injured in a fatal tractor-trailer accident in Orlando.
According to the Orlando Police Department, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-4 around the area of Michigan Street. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it collided with several other vehicles. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene. One person was pronounced dead at the scene and four others were injured. Their identities are not yet known.
The eastbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
