Orlando, FL (April 21, 2021) – At 2:23 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, April 21, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Orlando.
According to officials, the accident happened in the westbound lanes of FL-528. Orange County officials confirmed that the crash took place around the area of FL-417 when multiple vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for a period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
