Orlando, FL (February 23, 2021) – Around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, February 23, a multi-vehicle accident occurred on a major roadway in Orlando.

According to officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of GA-417 around the area of Narcoossee Road. Few details have been released but it is believed that multiple vehicles collided in the area when one or more lost control. The involved vehicles were badly damaged as a result of the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
