Orlando, FL (March 19, 2021) – Around 1:15 a.m. on Friday morning, March 19, a fatal pedestrian accident took place on a roadway in Orlando.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Colonial Drive around the area of Fabian Avenue. At the time, a man was walking across Colonial Drive when he was struck by a yellow Camaro.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were present at the scene. The victim was pronounced dead but has only been identified as an adult male.
The driver of the Camaro that struck the pedestrian fled the scene. They will be facing a charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Police believe that the vehicle is missing its right side mirror.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
