Orlando, FL (March 4, 2021) – Around 6:23 a.m. on Thursday morning, March 4, a man was killed in a pedestrian accident in Orlando.

According to police, the accident took place at 3100 South Orange Avenue near the area of Orange Avenue. A vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street at the time. The vehicle then fled the scene. Police have not yet found the responsible driver.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. The pedestrian, identified as 54year-old Kenneth Holmes, was pronounced dead. Nobody else was injured in the accident.

Southbound lanes of traffic were closed in the area until about 10:30 a.m.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
