Orlando, FL (August 1, 2021) – At 3:56 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, July 31, a car crash took place on a highway in Orlando.
According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of FL-408 around the area of I-4. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one allegedly lost control, slamming into several others. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged. Tow trucks had to remove vehicles from the roadway.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
