Orlando, FL (April 4, 2021) – At 8:37 a.m. on the morning of Friday, April 2, a car accident occurred on a major highway in Orlando.
According to Orange County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-4 around the area of Sand Lake Road. Two or more vehicles collided with each other, with one of the vehicles going off the side of the road and into a ditch.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
