Ocoee, FL (February 27, 2021) – Around 11:47 a.m. on Saturday, February 27, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred on a highway in Ocoee.

Orange County officials confirmed that the accident happened in the northbound lanes of FL-429 around the area of Plant Street when multiple vehicles collided with each other. The vehicles involved were left with extensive damages, some of which had to be towed away by wreckers.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more injured victims were immediately transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The left lane of traffic was blocked for a period of time until police cleared the scene.

The circumstances leading up to the collision are not yet known but the accident remains under investigation.
