Melbourne, FL (March 10, 2021) – At 8:28 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 9, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a major roadway in Melbourne.

According to Brevard County officials, the accident took place on Viera Boulevard around the area of I-95. Multiple vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
