Melbourne, FL (April 15, 2021) – Around 8:29 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, April 15, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Melbourne.
According to Brevard County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Waelti Drive and Butternut Lane. Two vehicles collided with each other after they entered the intersection. The vehicles were left with extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
