Cocoa, FL (April 26, 2021) – At 5:20 a.m. on the morning of Monday, April 26, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Cocoa.

According to Orange County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of FL-520 and East Colonial Drive when two vehicles collided with each other. It is believed that the vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Several victims received injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The intersection was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues at this time.
