Boca Raton, FL (June 26, 2021) – On Saturday morning, June 26, a Miami man was killed and others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on Interstate 95 near Glades Road.
Per reports from authorities, the incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol did not release the victim’s name but said that the 63-year-old Miami man was pronounced dead at the scene. Few details on the circumstances leading up to the collision have been reported, though troopers say two vehicles were involved, including a van and a large tractor-trailer. The deceased victim was a passenger in the tractor-trailer. Two other victims sustained moderate injuries requiring transport to an area medical center.
The case is pending investigation, and further information about the cause of the collision has not been released.
