Altamonte Springs, FL – Car Accident at FL-434 & Sand Lake Rd

Altamonte Springs, FL (April 24, 2021) – Around 7:52 a.m. on Friday morning, April 23, a car accident took place at an intersection in Altamonte Springs.

According to police, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of FL-434 at the intersection of Sand Lake Road. Two or more vehicles collided with each other in the area, which caused them to sustain severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hurt as a result of the crash. The injured victims were hospitalized for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in all lanes for a period of time until police cleared the scene. Police urged those in the area to use alternate routes for some time.
